MacArthur Maze Freeway Collapse

At about 3:40 AM this morning, a tanker carrying 8,600 gallons of gasoline hit a guard rail and overturned on the ramp connecting I-80 West to I-880 South. The subsequent explosion and fire caused steel supports to melt, collapsing the I-580 overpass onto the roadway below.
