I spent this past week in Las Vegas at NAB2007, an industry trade show focusing on electronic media. Aspera, the company I work for, was exhibiting its latest software at the convention.
There were three press releases that described our focus at this year’s show:
-
FASP 2.0: The latest generation of our high-speed file transfer protocol.
-
Isilon: Aspera’s software will be available for Isilon’s Isilon IQ family of clustered storage systems.
- Microsoft: Aspera’s software has been integrated with Microsoft’s Interactive Media Manager, a collaborative media management solution.
The last minute preparations for NAB were hectic, with a few of us going multiple days on little to no sleep. And, of course, the nightlife in Vegas doesn’t provide much of an opportunity to recuperate. But all-in-all, the show was productive and I had a lot of fun.
I’ve posted the photos I took from the set-up and final day of the show.
