Backdrifter

A course based upon professional issues pertinent to engineers and scientists along with an overview of the various engineering and science disciplines. Case studies based upon actual technical problems will be presented by practicing engineers and scientists. These case studies will involve both societal and professional questions. The format for a particular case study will involve an overview of a particular engineering or science discipline, an introduction to an actual technical problem, and a discussion of the societal implications of decisions that result.
